Within Snowflake, we support multiple options for clients to get access to Bulk Property Data. Snowflake offers two main ways to access this data:
Directly via the Snowflake Marketplace
Through private data shares that are manually provisioned by HouseCanary
Purchasing data through the Snowflake Marketplace (option 1) allows clients to install the listing through the marketplace directly and all billing and invoicing is handled directly through Snowflake. For an overview of how this works generally, see here: https://other-docs.snowflake.com/en/collaboration/consumer-listings-access.
For option 2, clients should work directly with a HouseCanary sales representative to discuss pricing and other administrative information. Once a contract has been signed with HouseCanary, we will then provision a private share to your Snowflake account. In this case, invoicing and billing can either be:
Handled directly between you and HouseCanary; OR (i.e. "off platform")
Handled within Snowflake (i.e "on platform")
In order for data to be shared directly via private share, HouseCanary requires the full account identifier including the prefix, which should be formatted like {{id}}.{{id}}.
For information on how to find your account identifier, see here: https://docs.snowflake.com/en/user-guide/admin-account-identifier#label-account-name-find.
