Saving

Your Property Explorer reports are automatically saved for you when you generate them, and when you make changes. Make sure to select the value that you want to show on the final report. If you’ve made comments, you’ll also need to click “Save” to save those comments and have them appear on downloaded and shared reports.

You can go back to reports that you have looked up previously, and your property adjustments, comp selections, and customized value conclusions will still be there. The system will recommend generating a new report for property reports generated more than 30 days ago. Regenerating the report will count towards your Property Explorer report count for the current month.

Downloading

You can download your property report as a user-friendly PDF. Start by selecting the download icon () the property’s valuation. A menu will appear with options to select a PDF format. Read more about Property Explorer’s value report PDF, or learn how to set up co-branding.

Sharing

(Example 1)

(Example 2)

There are two share icons. You can press the “Share” icon that is located on the top right corner of the property’s valuation page to open a window with sharing options. (Example 1) or you can click the "Share" icon that is near the bottom of the page where Quick Actions is (Example 2).

Start by setting sharing permissions. When you toggle permissions to “Edit & Save,” the people you share with will be able to edit the details of the report, with or without a HouseCanary account. They will need to have a HouseCanary account in order to share or redistribute reports, or look up additional property reports.

Generate Shareable Link

Share your online Property Explorer value report by clicking on “Generate Read Only Public Link” then copying and pasting the URL wherever you'd like. Use this sharing option to embed the URL directly into text messages, emails, and presentations.
