Logging In to Property Explorer
There are three ways to get to Property Explorer.
Log into Solutions Platform at solutions.housecanary.com and click the launch button for Property Explorer
Log in directly at pexp.housecanary.com
Switch to Property Explorer from any HouseCanary product by clicking on the product grid icon (
)
Maps
Interactive, data-rich maps are central to every part of the Property Explorer experience. Read more about how to use Property Explorer’s map tools.
Search view
Property Explorer opens into a search page where you can enter addresses for individual properties. Read more about Property Explorer’s search view.
Property report view
Once you look up a property and click “View Full Report,” you’ll be taken to property report view. This is where you can see and explore this property’s dynamic value report. Read more about Property Explorer’s property report view.

Comp selection views
Comp selection views are how you see, filter, and select comparable sales and rental properties.
From within property report view, click the “Select Comps” button on the map at the top of the page to get to comp selection view. The same button is available further down the page, on the Sold & Active Comparables section. The comps you select in the comp selection view will adjust the Comparable Value of the subject property.
Rental comp selection is similar to sales comp selection. From within property report view, click the “Select Rental Comps” button on the map at the top of the page. The same button is available further down the page, in the Rental Comps section. When you select rental comps in the rental comps selection view, Property Explorer will automatically adjust the comparable rental value of the subject property.

Property Explorer’s value report PDF
Property Explorer provides the option to generate user-friendly co-branded value reports in PDF format. The selections you make in Property Explorer will determine what information appears on the PDF.
